Automatic banding machine using paper and polypropylene straps

The Easy Band 45 automatic banding machine is a simple, reliable benchtop unit. It uses 29 mm-wide, 190 m-long paper and polypropylene straps. The strap reel is mounted inside the machine via a quick-change system for rapid replacement. Machine settings are configurable via a touchscreen control panel, including strapping cycle speeds of up to 25 cycles/min. Strap tension is adjustable via a knob located inside the machine.

The banding machine can operate in manual or automatic mode via a sensor positioned on the product support table. A trolley-mounted version is also available as the Easy Band 45B. Beyond its traditional use in graphic arts, bookbinding, and carton production, the Easy Band 45 is particularly suited for creating multipacks or bundling multiple products for promotional sales.

Operation

In automatic mode, simply place the product on the machine’s table. A photocell detects the product and initiates the banding and sealing cycle. Removing the product triggers the machine to reset, preparing for the next cycle. In manual mode, the operator starts the banding cycle via a push button. Strap roll replacement is quick and straightforward.
