Self-adjusting case sealer with hot melt glue sealing system
The Matic Tape 50 CF HM automatic case sealer is a self-adjusting, flap-closing machine designed for top sealing of cardboard cartons using hot melt glue. The gluing system is controlled by the Nordson Mesa melting unit, ensuring precise and reliable adhesive application. The machine is engineered for integration into fully automated packaging lines, operating without the need for operator supervision.
Features and Operation of the Case Sealer
The frame of the Matic Tape 50 CF HM automatic case sealer is made of bent, welded, and painted steel sheet. Carton transport is carried out by four lower side drive belts, each powered by its own motor. The machine automatically adjusts to the different carton sizes inserted. Once the box is detected, the four top flaps are closed by internal mechanisms and then sealed with hot melt glue. The actuators are pneumatically driven, and the electronic control is managed by a SIEMENS® PLC.
