Automatic carton forming machine that automatically forms the lower part of the boxes at a speed of 8 cartons per minute
The Speed Former 50 SB XL is an automatic carton former. It automatically forms the bottom of American-type cartons, for batches of equal size, by folding their four lower flaps. Bottom forming is carried out in complete reliability due to the perfect synchronism of the closing linkages (movements). The carton former has a forming speed of up to 8 cartons per minute. Electropneumatic devices allow with complete safety and guarantee a perfect forming and squaring of the box.
Machine operation
A suction cup gripper, operated by a Venturi unit, picks up the box from the side storage, holding it during opening, which is done by a contrasting system. Closing of the box is done with by means of adhesive tape. All adjustments are made manually by handwheels. This model is available in the right or left version. Operation is managed by Siemens plc with touch screen. The automatic carton form is available with motorized carton magazine up to 1700 mm and in AISI 304 stainless steel version.
